In this series of 11 blackboards, photographed in historic educational establishments (La Sorbonne, Sciences Po, Columbia, etc.), the differences in format and the palimpsest-like remnants of the countless writings they have carried are taken into account. These traces of writing and manual erasure are stylistically reminiscent of gestural painting. Some of the three-part pieces evoke triptychs and altarpieces.
